Positive: Tenuta Dorolivo is a little slice of paradise. Perfectly located just a short drive from the lively seaside town of Otranto, it offers the best of both worlds, close to everything yet tucked away in complete peace and tranquility. The property itself is stunning, beautifully designed and built by two brothers whose passion and craftsmanship are evident in every detail. Surrounded by olive fields, the setting is serene and calming, the perfect place to relax, switch off, and recharge. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed, great amenities, and a lovely private patio where we spent evenings sipping wine and enjoying the cool breeze. There is also ample free parking within the property, which was really convenient. Breakfast each morning was fresh, tasty, and just the right start to the day. What truly makes this place unforgettable are the owners, warm, welcoming, and incredibly genuine. They have poured their hearts into creating a space where guests feel cared for, and it really shows. We honestly did not expect to enjoy it this much. A couple of nights we found ourselves skipping the lively atmosphere of Otranto just to sit on our terrace, open a bottle of wine, and soak up the peaceful surroundings. It is the kind of place that makes you slow down and savor the moment

Positive: Everything — the space is stunning, peaceful, and impeccably clean. Francesco and Gian Maria were so warm and welcoming, from the generous breakfast to the thoughtful recommendations and stories about the region. It’s a perfect location for exploring the area and would be ideal for a retreat. You can really feel the care they put into the place.
Negative: Truly nothing — everything was perfect.
Summary: A peaceful, heartwarming stay in a beautiful space hosted by two kind souls — we’ll definitely be back.

Positive: Lovely brothers, taking care of all the little details and helping to make our holiday extremely memorable - very helpful in making recommendations for our time in both Otranto as well as in Salento, which helped us enjoy a truly local experience of the region. Property is very well maintained, newly renovated though still very charming and true to authentic character - has all the facilities you need and lovely touches all around. We did not want to leave! Cute courtyard to enjoy some morning and evening sun - with sun loungers, we wanted to spend more time in the property as it was very authentic, relaxing and close to nature though only 8 min drive to Otranto city which we went for sunset and dinner. Breakfast offers an exceptional spread - both local and international cuisine in a gorgeous set up facing the olive gardens They’ve also got another property on site Tenuta Agri rooms - worth checking out
Summary: Stay here instead of the main touristic Otranto town!

Positive: We loved the beautiful room which was spacious and has state of the art of everything you will want.! Wish we could have stay for many more days . So nice to have outdoor space ! The owner is so kind and helpful. Incredible restaurant across the street! We were very happy to be ten minutes outside of town and staying on this lovely property.

Positive: Francesco was the best host! very responsive and share all the details and info prior to/during my stay. It is a nice location (you need a car to access though) where you can relax and rest peacefully and many places are accessible by car in 30mins. We are happy we stayed here for our trip!

Positive: Turning into the drive to TENUTA DOROLIVO and driving up to the main building, we thought we were in for a special time and we were not disappointed. Francesco has created a wonderful place to relax on holiday. The rooms are exceptionally well-equipped and Francesco has thought for everything. From the most comfortable bed (with a selection of 3 types of pillows!) to a fridge in the bedroom that does not buzz! It turns out that Francesco does a lot of research and tests everything that he uses for the rooms (the fridge registers low dB and is essentially silent to most ears!). Tasteful decorations, lighting, furnishings, smart tv and bluetooth sound system. The best designed bathroom. Large and comfortable (private) seating areas front and back, and beautiful views over the olive groves. The room was cleaned to a very high standard everyday! Really well-located for visits to many interesting places. We also had a lovely return walk from the door to Otranto, through wonderful countryside and along the river. Breakfast was substantial, with lots of variety and the best cappuccino! It is in a separate building and the atmosphere encourages interactions and discussions with other guests, e.g. sharing ideas for excursions, restaurants etc. Francesco is a wonderfully warm and kind host, who was very helpful from the beginning to end of our stay. It was possible to keep in contact with him easily by WhatsApp and he was very responsive.
Negative: Nothing. It was perfect! We would score this 11 if we could!
